Sudden pinkish hue in the MacBook Air display

My display suddenly has a pink hue. This happens at the places with white colors in the wallpaper and all the Apps with white backgrounds (e.g., excel, word, etc). This happened all of a sudden. I didn't change any display settings or perform any recent software updates. Can someone explain why this happened and how I can get it fixed.

Check that Mac's Accessibility settings: Change display colors on Mac to make it easier to see what’s onscreen - Apple Support. One or more of them may have been inadvertently changed.

If nothing appears to have been change, make a change, and then revert it. The idea is to reset any parameters that may have become corrupted.
