Given that the IIc monitor has only RCA-type inputs, it will be hard to find any newer device that will support it.

The other issue is very serious—extreme age. The last of the IIc monitors are now a third of a century old!

Why is extreme age a problem? CRT monitors get hot inside with normal use and, over time, that can "cook" the insulation on the internal wiring, making this critical protection brittle. Should you try to use it today, there could be some point at which the insulation crumbles away and pose a fire hazard.

Unless you have a compatible device AND a fire-proof room in which to use it, prudence suggests saying goodbye to the old monitor.
