Wife’s Apple ID rendered inactive - no warning, no explanation

My wife’s Apple ID has been randomly deactivated with no warning or explanation. She has contacted support and they say ‘We have determined that your request does not meet the conditions to reactivate your Apple ID. What conditions?! She rang again to complain, but there seems to be nowhere else to go with this. All her books and music purchased from the iTunes Store are linked to this account and email address. Has anyone else managed to successfully reactivate their Apple ID?

I have the same issue happened last week, Apple deactivated my Apple ID withou any warning and and without any explanation, I havent done anything wrong on that account, I started that account on 2010 and I bought many apps and movies on that account

I called apple 3 times and told me sorry this is the system and we cant change it

Im really sad and disappointed on Apple and how they deal with old customers and not respecting them

My wife is furious about it. Apple have also placed an 'Activation Lock' on her old iPad as well. She can't unlock it because of the deactivated Apple ID, so she's lost all her photos etc. too. Talking to Apple Customer Service is like talking to a brick wall. The worst and most worrying part is that they gave no warning that they were going to do it, and no explanation was offered as to why. 🤬 She'd just purchased a new iPad when she discovered what had happened and now regrets buying it. What if you create a new Apple ID and then at some point they randomly and arbitrarily deactivate that too?! We've always bought Apple computers, iPads etc. for years, since the very first iMac came out in fact, but will think twice in the future. Frankly quite disgusted with Apple.
