Using Keynote in a more robust virtual experience

I'm currently using Vimeo or Zoom to present with Keynote and I'm using 3 monitors.

One is my shared screen where the presentation is being displayed.

The 2nd is for my presenter notes and view.

I want to use the 3rd to monitor attendees, see chats and questions and see their faces but it appears that Keynote will not allow the customization of the third screen to be any thing other than keynote. This makes it very difficult to actually conduct a virtual experience while using keynote and forces me to use power point or another inferior presentation program.

Is there a way to restrict keynote to using only 2 of the available 3 screens?

I just want to see my desktop and/ or a browser, 3rd party app on that screen.

Thank you

In a word, no.

When Keynote is in play, it takes over complete control of the graphics system on the Mac, other applications are not visible when Keynote is in play.

Then you will need a second computer to use other software when Keynote is in play, we have a MacBook Pro dedicated to just that function.
