On your iPhone or iPad with iOS 16 or later

Go to Settings.
Tap Family.
Tap Add Member .
If your child doesn't have an Apple ID, tap Create an Account for a Child. But if your child already has an Apple ID, tap Invite People. ...
Follow the onscreen instructions to set up parental controls, location sharing, and more.

When I look at my apple id it shows that I have icloud+ and that I am sharing it with my husband. However, if I am on his phone it says that he doesn't have icloud+. I may have inadvertently deleted one of us as the organizer. How can I fix this?

Also, when I try to add a family member on either account, I am not given the option to add a new family member.
