Watch is showing too hot

I went swimming yesterday and afterwards my watch was showing me the thermometer. I took it off overnight and made sure it cooled. Tried to do a hard reset but it continues to show the apple sign and then starts showing the temperature sign again. Any way to fix this?

You seem to have done the obvious things and your watch has cooled. If your Apple Watch doesn't *feel* hot it might be a problem with the temperature sensor. Contact Apple Support and arrange to get it checked by Apple Service.
