Can no longer see sub folders (actually labels) from my gmail account using the Apple mail on my iphone

I use my gmail account through the Apple mail app on my phone. As of three days ago all my sub labels have disappeared. I can no longer view those folders. I can still move messages to the individual labels but I can’t see them. When I view gmail on a browser the labels are all there. this only happens on my iPad and my iPhone and just started last Thursday. I love using this app and it’s always worked perfectly before. I have made no changes. You can see that it shows no mail under my 2023 label on the Apple mail app but on a browser it shows all my sub labels

What could possible have happened?
