Created an additional iTunes user name, etc. Apple has changed the information, now all I can do is sign on to Apple???

To be clear, I can't use the old UserID, seems Apple deleted it when the new one went live. I run my PC, iPhone, and iPad. Windows 10, latest iTunes update. Frankly, I don't have a clue how to cure this. Help!
