Files in the wrong place

So I just got a Mac mini 2 Pro and started downloading instruments for logic, Native Instruments, Toontrac etc. I wanted to load the Apps and their content on an external drive since there are hundreds of GB. I got a couple of Apps on the external drive but before I knew it I had loaded up my Mac hard drive instead til there was no more room. I don't know how to move the instrument files to the correct location on the external drive so that Logic can find them. Help!

Hi

The best method depends on the particular type of library.

To move Kontakt libraries, simply locate the existing folder and move it to the external drive. Restart Native Access then Relocate the libraries

Similarly, with Toontrack, in Settings, use the Libraries/Paths option to choose where the libraries are located.

Superior Drummer:

To avoid the hassle in the future, set the desired download and file locations in Native Access/Toontrack Product Manager Preferences
