The most you can pay is the card balance. The card balance does not include pending charges. You can only pay charges that have finalized. Pending charges cannot be paid until they finalize. It generally takes 1 to 5 days for a charge to finalize.
Your billing period does not end until 11:59 PM ET. You can make as many payments as you want between now and that time. So, if a pending charge finalizes, you are permitted to make additional payments.
