Apple TV 4K box remote question regarding if it needs to be charged.

Does the remote need to be charged? I just purchased it but there was not charging cable in the box. There is a new way for charging the remote?

It does not include a charging cable anymore, but is charged using the USB-C cord. An alert will appear on the Apple TV screen when the battery level is getting low and you can expect to need to charge it a couple of times a year.

Jim, thank you very much. I’m trying to learn about my new MacBook Pro and my ports are something 4’s and I have to see if the USB-C will work for my USB gadgets. Back to Best Buy to get the cable for charging the Apple TV remote.

At 74 I am still learning new things. :). I appreciate you.
