Group thread with 8 members— do not see “leave this conversation “.
I want to leave a group message thread and do not see an option to leave the conversation.

You can only leave iMessage Groups. To learn how, please see: Leave a group text message thread on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If you want to leave a SMS/MMS Group, have the creator of that group delete it and create a new one, but to exclude you this time.
