Hotspot Problems iPhone 14 Pro Max
Hello everyone,
I've some problems with my iPhone 14 Pro Max bought in May when I try to connect any device to it.
What happened: so first of all, either if my iPhone is next to my MacBook Pro 2017, I get this error message:
By switching off and then back on the problem was temporally solved. But I had also the problem that after the MacBook disconnected from the iPhone's hotspot, my iPhone didn't connect back to the wifi automatically, it keeps the hotspot on so i had to turn off the hotspot manually and that connects back to wifi.
So by contacting the customer service they sai to reset network settings.
I've done it and the problem didn't have been solved at all.
So they said to erase all content and settings and installed back the backup.
After that the iPhone was able to make other devices to its network, but then after I've changed the iPhone's name that happened:
Both the Devices that you can read were my only iPhone 14 Pro Max. Then when I was trying to connect that happened:
So iPhone disappeared, and then trying to connect to iPhone 14 pro Max hotspot's the MacBook was trying to connect to the first one but then was connecting to the second one. but i have just one devices.
Trying to contact the customer service back they said to reset the network settings once again.
I've done it and got back the first error message, so failed to enable the hotspot.
So I've erase all the content and settings for a second time and installed back the backup.
So finally I didn't have any problem connecting to my iPhone's 14 Pro Max. But the problem about the iPhone connecting back to wifi automatically was still there.
So I went to a Genius Bar and they said that the problem would be solved if I would erased content and settings and I would install all the apps manually instead of from backup because the problem could have been to the backup file.
I've done it, but the problem was not solved at all. Still having same bugs about error message on connecting to the device and it doesn't connect back automatically to wifi after the macbook have been disconnected from iPhone's hotspot.
After iOS 16.6 I've also the first error message back.
The problem was also that something strange happened. The iPhone, after the MacBook disconnects from it, on settings looks connected to the wifi but it is not at all (i've tried to do a speed test and it looks to be connected to 4g and not wifi).
MacBook Pro 2017 i5 MacOs Ventura 13.4.1 (c)
iPhone 14 Pro Max 16.6
With my iPhone 8 Plus that I had till may I've never had those kinds of problems.
So, how to solve it?
