Downloading and installing apps should be a fairly straightforward process. If you are having problems with Wi-Fi or your internet connection, then corruption of the download can occur. I suggest you check that. Otherwise, please be more specific as to what your issue is. What messages do you receive?

You say problems downloading applications? You mean you cannot even initate the downlaod from a website or the app store for the application?

Or is the application already downlaoded and installed on the Mac and will not open?
