How to upload music to iPod nano 3rd generation from MacBook Air 2020

Hi,

I recently bought iPod nano

3rd generation. I got MacBook Air 2020. I connected iPod to MacBook. It’s detecting device but I cannot do anything apart from seeing what folders ipod

got. I wanted to upload some music. I tried to instal iTunes but it’s showing I need software version 10. 10.5 or older and I got 13 on my MacBook.

Would be grateful for

help.

Thank you

As your MacBook has OS Ventura on it (OS 13), you do not use iTunes. Instead, use the MacBook's built-in Finder to manage your iPod.

I don't use Mac, so I don't know enough about the actual steps involved, but it should be intuitive (I hope). The following Apple article should help you: Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with your Mac – Apple Support (UK)
