Apple Watch Series 4 battery dies earlier each day

Is it better to upgrade to a higher series Apple Watch or can I just replace the battery on my Apple Watch Series 4 to make it good as new?

The choice is yours. You can upgrade to a new and faster Apple Watch with all the latest features and functions, or you can put your existing watch in for battery service. Apple Watch Service & Repair - Apple Support
