Memoji record button missing

When I try to record and send a memoji to my friends, the record button in the bottom left dissapears. Then it says “ tap to resume” but it does not work. This problem accurs in my iphone 14 pro max. When I try the same thing in my mothers iphone 11 it totally works. Please someone help me!
