I missed a one mile walk yesterday 😬. That drives me crazy.
when walking outside after 10 minutes it asks me koi want to track my activity. This does not happen on treadmill.

No, the Indoors Walk exercise cannot be automatically recognized. You'll need to start the workout manually on your Apple Watch by starting the workout in the Workout app.

Incorrect. Been wearing an Apple Watch on the treadmill for at least 4 years and it always recognizes my indoor treadmill walk after about 2 laps and asks if I would like to record. If I approve, it credits the time back to the start of the walk.
