iPhone hacked

I just received something from Apple Support saying my iPhone had been hacked and taken over and all my photos would be published if I didn’t download an app from the Apple store and install it. Is this a legitimate message from Apple?

No, you saw a bogus website advertisement. All such messages are scams presented by criminals. Close the offending page and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics. Never download anything based on such bogus messages.
