If your left or right AirPod isn't working

  • Make sure that your charging case is fully charged.
  • Place both AirPods in your charging case and let them charge for 30 seconds.
  • Open the charging case near your iPhone or iPad.
  • Check the charge status on your iPhone or iPad to make sure that each AirPod is charging .

  1. Ensure that both AirPods have sufficient battery life. If the left one has low battery, it may cause intermittent disconnections. Charge the AirPods and the case fully before testing them again.
  2. To reset your AirPods, place them in the charging case, open the lid, and press and hold the setup button (located on the back of the case) until the status light flashes amber. This will reset the AirPods, and you can then try reconnecting them to your iPhone.
  3. Forget the AirPods from your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and then re-pair them. To do this, go to Settings > Bluetooth, find your AirPods in the list, tap the "i" icon next to them, and select "Forget This Device." Then, put the AirPods back in the case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, and open the lid again to initiate the pairing process.
