How do I see what a vCard contains that would be merged with a current Contact?

How do I see what a vCard contains that would be merged with a current Contact the way we see Siri suggestions in Contacts when viewing a currently existing Contact.

I don't think you can see what is inside a vCard using an iPhone after the vCard is prepared. See how a vCard is made.

  • On a Mac simply double click the vCard in the Mac Message App and all data will be visible before they are imported.
  • There are a number of vCard viewers available online and as apps. These viewers will allow you to see the vCard's data in a more user-friendly way.
  • Import the vCard into your Contacts app. When you import a vCard into your Contacts app, it will merge with any existing contacts that have the same name. This will allow you to see the differences between the two contacts and decide which data you want to keep.
