I create a shortcut in the sidebar of Finder, it is a link to a certain folder. Then, I delete that folder. The shortcut to that folder remains in the sidebar and I cannot cancel it. When I try to remove it from sidebar a message appears: "“The folder "X” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.
How to solve this problem? Thanks

Sidebar is an alias to the original... the linkage is broken
Remove the item in the sidebar and replace it with a fresh copy from the original
If you Control click— your item>Remove
