desktop adding words to files

Every time I download or copy a file to the desktop, it adds the same two words repeated 5 times to the end of the file. It doesn't matter what type of file it is. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

(The words are Johan Johannsson in case you're wondering haha. I am a film editor and have a bunch of music store in my computer)

The only thing that comes to mind is a Folder Action attached to your Desktop that renames incoming files.

Run the utility Folder Action Setup (use Spotlight to find it since it's buried in the system directories) to see if there are any active folders with attached scripts. Disable any you don't recognize/want.
