Text messages show wrong sender

My wife sends some text messages that correctly show her as sender. Other times she text’s and the sender reads as me. It happens when she sends texts to me and when she sends them to others, including family members

Do you and your wife share the same Apple ID? If you do, you each need your own Apple ID.

iMessage being sent, but we didn’t send it My wife’s IMessage has recently sent me emoji’s or text but she and I didn’t send it.
