Moving files from sub-folder to main folder (repeat on multiple main folders) - Apple Script
I have some folders like this... 'Music' is the common sub-folder under each Main Artist folder
Parent Folder > Artist 1 > Music > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
Parent Folder > Artist 2 > Music > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
Parent Folder > Artist 3 > Music > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
Parent Folder > Artist 4 > Music > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
I want to move File 1, File 2, File 3, etc, out of the Music folder to the Main Artist Folder to look like the following: (Basically delete the 'Music' folder.
Parent Folder > Artist 1 > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
Parent Folder > Artist 2 > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
Parent Folder > Artist 3 > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
Parent Folder > Artist 4 > File 1, File 2, File 3, etc
I have tried my hand at Apple Scripts and figured out how to do this for One Main Artist Folder and one time.
How do I repeat the command without manually changing the Main Folder each time? In other words, Can I run a script command to automatically repeat on all Main Artist Folders? (All Artist Main Folders are under one Parent Folder)?
Thanks in advance !
