1. In the iTunes app  on your PC, choose Movies or TV shows from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.

2. Click the item to select it, then press the Delete key.

3. Click Delete [item].

4. Do one of the following:

* Remove the item only from your iTunes library: Click Keep File.

* Delete the item from your computer: Click Move to Recycle Bin. The item is removed the next time you empty the Recycle Bin.

You can hide items you haven’t downloaded to your iTunes library. (To add them back to your library, you can download them again.)

We recommend the steps above because they will show you how to delete movies and TV shows in the iTunes app on your PC.

What version of iTunes is installed? If you go to the Films (Movies) section of the iTunes library, then right-click on the movie you want to remove do you see any of these options in the context menu that shows up?

Delete movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app - Apple Support has the best steps to help resolve this. Specifically:

"If you can't delete your movies or TV shows

• Hide the item: Hiding an item removes it from your Library when you're signed in with your Apple ID.
• Turn off computer syncing: If you used a USB cable to manually sync movies or TV shows from your Mac or PC to your iPhone or iPad, you can turn off syncing to remove the content from your Library.
• Check if the item is downloaded: If you see  next to a movie or episode, it's downloaded on your device. If you don't see , the movie or episode isn't downloaded."
