How do I revert from iOS 17 Beta to the latest regular release of iOS?

I did not understand the implications of upgrading to a beta release of iOS 17. Now a lot of my apps, some paid, don't work or aren't properly supported. Is there a way to revert my iOS back to an earlier version noting that iPhones only provide incremental backups? Seems like I can only remove my participation in beta testing and not revert back to say, iOS 16 regular.
