After updating 13.5, the mail app is receive email, but it refuse to send email.
Checked provider settings, contact Apple Support.
The problem is on two machines now.
In the meantime I installed Outlook which working with no problems.

Go into Mail's Accounts settings and remove that email account. Then add it back. Be sure you have the correct user name and password for that account. When I do that I take a screen shot of the Account Information, Mailbox Behaviors and Server Settings panes for reference.

Which accounts are not sending emails?
I installed MacOS 13.5 earlier today. Just tested, and am able to send and receive emails using Apple Mail.
Local provider.
zeelandnet.nl
Did that several times.
problem stays
No problems with webmail and Outlook
Outlook same server settings as the mail app.
