I've got an Macbook Air 2020 M1. Could I still use the Thinkpad docking station to display 1 x external display?
Which MacBook Air do you have?
The M1 and M2 MacBook Airs support one external display. Adding a docking station will not increase the number of hardware video outputs.
If you have an earller, Intel-based MacBook Air, the limit on displays may be different. E.g.. the Retina 13" 2020 MacBook Air could drive one external 5K/6K display or two external 4K ones. (Though not necessarily over the same port.)
Probably. Does it work when you configure it that way?
