Alarm Volume Randomly Sets Itself To Zero
I am having an issue with my alarms occasionally having no volume, leading me to wake up too late or miss meetings.
When this happens, I check my sound settings and the “Ringtone and Alert Volume” is all the way at zero. However, I have not set it to zero myself, it’s always supposed to be at maximum volume. This has happened several times and I don’t know why. I have:
- No Bluetooth device connected
- “Change with Buttons” setting disabled
- Newest iOS installed
- Assigned a sound to the alarm
- Allowed for alarm ringtones in Focus mode and Silent mode
- Set the alarm for the right time
- A fully functioning phone that can play sounds, haptics, and vibrations completely fine.
These are recurring alarms that work 95% of the time but sometimes this weird bug happens and the Volume setting just randomly goes to zero. The alarm pops up on my screen normally but the phone is completely silent. I am now randomly checking this setting before going to bed and it still sometimes happens to me. I actually had to buy a regular alarm clock as backup.
