Macbook Air 2016, internet recovery cannot find ssd

I had an issue just recently, resetting the device by erasing it and reformatting. I was able to erase going to disk utility and when started internet recovery, the installer couldn't able to identify the ssd, it just shows the recovery partition only. Checked disk utility via GUI and as well through Terminal. No physical disk is found.

(Note: I have upgraded my 128GB original NVME SSD to 1TB NVME using the adapter from amazon in 2020, which i transferred the OS from 128GB to 1TB and working fine since then)

The SSD is not dead, I removed the SSD and checked using another mac mini as external drive and was able to format and rename, but when it is installed in Macbook Air, it is not detectable. So in this case, the SSD is fine. But the problem is, when going for internet recovery, it starts with OS X and it doesn't have the driver for the NVME SSD. I don't understand why this is happening as the firmware was updated when it was previously using and just the OS was deleted.

Solution:

NVME SSD's are usually detectable for OS 10.13 onwards. Other OS which is below cannot identify the SSD. I prepared an installer macOS monterey using mac mini. Used the installer on Macbook Air and now the SSD was detected. Able to install monterey and then upgraded to the available OS through update.

Hope this helps someone who is deliberate in searching for solution. There are few responses and many response which is not even relevant to the question posted. I rolled the dice for 2 days with this and at last able to find a solution.
