Purple Prints Navy

Two computers at work are having trouble printing the same file with a color purple in it. It prints as navy. It is being printed in a “find me” printer network. When I print the same file to the same printer it prints as purple. When we printed a screen shot with the same purple in it, it prints fine on the other two computers.

I tried printing the same file on a completely wiped MacBook with nothing installed- not even the specific printer drivers. It prints fine. Purple.

It isn’t the file. Not the drivers. Is there something in the Library I should try deleting?

It might also be blamed on what program created the images you are trying to print. Which could be why different results are found because the app is configured differently. I.E. - Possibly a hidden layer on the image causing the problem. As a test, you could copy the file that prints the correct color to the computer that doesn't print it right, then test to see what happens. All this is based on my assumption that it might be an image layer problem.
