I want to downgrade my Apple Watch paired with iOS 17 beta I recently downloaded iOS 17 beta and the beta version of watch OS. I restored my phone with iOS 16.5 but now I can't pair my Apple Watch 7 series with my iPhone. Is there any way to do a factory reset on my watch, knowing that it's still running the beta version of watch OS even after I erased the content ?

Apple Watch won’t update I accidentally toggled the beta software on my Apple Watch app on my iPhone. Now whenever I go to check if there is any new public WatchOS releases I get a response to update my iPhone 1st. if I choose open settings, it takes me to the iOS update screen where there isn’t any updates. I think it wants me to update the to iOS 17 beta in order to update my watch. But I really just want to “untoggle” the WatchOS beta option but can’t get back to that screen.

How to downgrade Watch OS 10 and iOS17 developer Betas Hi everyone I have a problem with my apple watch and iphone. My nephew upgraded my phone and mywatch to the developer betas. Now I can't go back to the watch OS 9 and IOS 16.5, because there is no possibility to synch these devices between Watch OS10 and iOS 16.5. And even when I am backing up the data from the iPhone I cant restore it with iOS 16.5. What can I do in this situation ? How can I restore my data with iOS16.5 and downgrade my watch to OS9 ?

You are correct. The beta release notes clearly say

Please note Apple Watch cannot be restored to previously-released OS versions once the beta is installed.

It looks like you are probably stuck with the beta until it becomes an official release version.
