My search engine has changed to google on my iPhone and I want safari back

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 16

To change Safari's Search Engine please read this excerpt from Search for websites in Safari on iPhone - Apple Support:

Choose a search engine

Go to Settings > Safari > Search Engine.

If you are actually referring to your search engine, there is no Safari search engine. You can select your search engine to be: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo or Ecosia.
