I need help finding AirPods. Both are out of case and dead, what do I do?

It says they were last seen at my house on June 19th. The thing to create noise from them won’t work and they won’t give out and signals so I can’t get directions. I need help if anyone has a answer.

Finding a Lost AirPods:

About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the location shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to was itself connected to the Internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address. Learn More Here: Keep track of personal items using Find My - Apple Support

II. If Find My is Not Working, here are Some Thoughts:

A. Backtrack your Locations:

Do it the olde fashioned way and backtrack your locations. For instance, if you were at a retail store, then stop in, asking the store manger if it was placed aside.

B. Lost-&-Found:

Chick with the Lost & Found department of the facility you were in, seeing if it has been handed over.

C. Contact Local Authorities:

See if the community police, or local security guards at the front door, can across it.

D. Use Craigslist:

Put a post on Craigslist, seeing if they have been found.
