HP OfficeJet 2620 not printing a simple document on macOS Monterey

I have recently got a 2015 Macbook Air with Mac OS Monetery 12.6.8 as a budget way to get into the apple ecosystem, everything is going well my apps from when I would use my Windows laptop are going well except for one issue.............. The Printer DONT WORK THE **** THING HATES MACOS.Let me explain so I thought that the process was gonna be easy just Install the driver from the HP website and I will be all set just like on my old Windows 11 Laptop .Wrong! Now at first glance everything seemed fine My Macbook Regonized the printer and was aware of its Ink levels via the settings and it was able to tell the printer to scan documents and the printer did just that. Now heres where it falls apart when I clciked print test page from the HP app it opned the window and said "Waiting for printer to connect" but Spoiler Alert it never connects you could wait 6 hours and it would be stuck on that, so I tried printing it from a differnt app... Nothing , Still the same. Now I know its now a USB issue because the scanner works completley fine. Ive searched countless internet forms but either none of them suited my printer Modle or my MacOS version. Ive even tried the reset printer method thats been the common answer no avail. So I hope someone in the apple community to help me fix this problem as this is a serious issue for me because I need to use this laptop until my Highschool years are over and to print Job applications and School work so if my printer doesnt work with this laptop then Im screwed. My Printer never did this with my old windows laptop before it now started doing this with my Macbook so Please if you guys can provide me with some help on how to fix this issue.I have provided SS on what types of errors I Reicive.

According to the HP Support site, the latest printer driver for this particular printer is dated: 2/22/2023, version 2.13.3.221209. It appears to be the same driver for a number of versions of macOS, including Monterey.

... so, if this is the driver that you installed, it would be the "latest & greatest" that HP offers.

FWIW, I do not have this particular printer, but have the HP OfficeJet 6970. I also have a variety of systems, running anything from macOS High Sierra to Ventura, PCs running Windows 11, & Linux boxes running various Debian distros. None of them have any issues with this printer. My printer is currently connected to my local network by Ethernet, but I have had it also connected to Wi-Fi.

The following is what I would do in your case. At each step see if you have success printing.

  1. Factory reset your printer. Then set it up again. Based on what you posted, am I correct to assume that you connect it to your Mac via USB? If so, any reason you don't try Ethernet or Wi-Fi (assuming it can support either?)
  2. Remove, and then, re-add back this printer to your Mac
  3. Reset the Mac's printing system.
  4. Enable the CUPS printer interface on the Mac

Thank you for your help on these tips but unfortunately, none of those methods work. Luckily I found a handy tool that was already built into my Mac it's called Boot Camp I love how it lets you run Windows on a separate portion sort of like how Dual Boot worked on my old Windows laptop but Bootcamp does it way smoothly and efficiently and what's best is my printer works well on my MacBook now after installing windows. This is better because I don't have to go back to windows and I can still use my Macbook with my printer and still have MacOS.
