Finding All Hidden apps

I recently had found that some of the app icons were missing from my screen after putting my iPhone in my pocket before locking the screen. One of the apps missing was Settings (!). I found out how to get the apps back: they had been hidden from my Home Screen, not deleted, and I individually found them in the App Library listing on the far right (= swipe left all the way). I know that part already. What I am wanting to ask is if there is any way to have a complete listing of all Apps that are currently installed on my iPhone, that are also currently being hidden from my Home Screen? That way I can find all the other Apps that I cannot currently recall what they were. I understand that the “long way” would be to look through my many-years long full transaction history on my iCloud account, then make a table of those, checking off each one that is still currently installed, and does still appear on my Home Screen. The ones not checked off would be either the uninstalled ones or the hidden ones. . . Then check off the uninstalled ones, leading to my hidden list that I wanted. But that would take hours at least! I’ll bet there is currently (on the current iOS 16.6) no such hidden list available on the iPhone, am I right?

Recommend this to Apple:

Being not an option, recommend this to AppleApple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what features to include in iOS versions to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that you want this to be an option and why. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

Hello MoonDog2019,

As MrHoffman stated, this is not something you can see on your iPhone.

Yet, if you own a Mac (in addition to your iPhone), you could install the Apple Configurator 2 on your Mac (use this App Store link to download it: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/apple-configurator/id1037126344?mt=12).

With this application on your Mac, you will be able to see a complete list of the applications installed on your iPhone.
