iPhone 13 won’t send messages to android

I have an iPhone 13 I just received and I have a friend with an android(galaxy f21 to be specific) who cannot receive any images from me and I can’t receive any images from him. Both SMS and MMS are on on my phone with a good cellular connection yet I can’t send or receive any pictures. I have never seen this happen before with any phone, android or iPhone.

First, you need to have both a cellular voice and cellular data connection for SMS/MMS; it can’t use Wi-Fi. If that isn’t the problem you need to contact your carrier; your account is misconfigured on their network.
