muting specific app sounds

i would just like to listen to music while doing my duolingo lessons but having my music be almost deafened by duolingos automatic reading of the words, i cannot focus and i get frustrated. i have been looking and have not been able to find a solution.

Dictation button and music playing I am blind and use voiceover on my iPhone SE. Since downloading iOS 16.1 whenever I am using the dictation button my music automatically starts playing. It's so annoying. Does anyone know how I can separate the music from the dictation button.
