Apple TV Movie to pre-order “Sound of Freedom” release date

It will get released when the supplying studio/​distributor wants to, not earlier. There’s nothing you or Apple can do about that to speed it up. The fact that it is still playing in theaters in some regions, may have something to do with that.

Nothing listed says August 18. The earliest date as could find is on a streaming service Sept 8. The only other date is “expected 12/31” which may simply indicate unknown at this time. Pre-order release date may change based on the studio plans.

13 October is the release date...at least that's what it read when I pre-ordered. Hope this helps you!

It definitely said Aug 18th release when I preordered a week or so earlier. Kept the mental note the whole week looking forward to the 18th so i could see the film

The date listed for Pre-orders will be when it is expected to be released, and it can be subject to change. If you want to specially inquire about how Apple is handling it then you can of course contact their support team. However, if you want an answer for the release date then that would be based on the distributor so you would need to consult with them.

It sure did when I pre-ordered this film. Pre-order date had said Aug 18, 2023. Chances are the film is being edited again for public viewing/ownership. Governments always changing the narrative.

Unfortunately i preordered the movie and when i paid it said available on August 18th and nothing today, no answer & no way to speak to a human being to know why is not available on the promised date that i pre ordered it. Will Never pre order again

They say it takes about 45 days after theatrical release to streaming release it’s been about that much time. We have been waiting anxiously. Can’t wait for it to come out to see what all the hype is. I’m pretty sure it’s a great movie.

I’ve heard different things if it wasn’t released on September 26 2023 then it wasn’t then it would be released till December 31 2023 and it not then it’s probably won’t get released these all all just rumors hope it helps I’ve also pre order it and waiting

I’m absolutely baffled by this design decision by Apple. Apple should NOT allow you to purchase a pre-ordered items UNLESS it shows the release date. “The studio didn’t provide a release date” is NOT an acceptable excuse. Apple should not stand for that. Ridiculous.
