Unable to run update or access apple ID

My iPhone 7plus has been on “searching” for network

I cannot run updates in the phone and cannot access my Apple ID in the settings

👉 Check restrictions -> tap Settings -> Screen Time -> Content & Privacy -> scroll to Allow Changes.

I cannot run updates in the phone


You can update your iPhone to iOS 15.7.8, see -> iPhone models compatible with iOS 12 -> iOS 16.

iPhone models compatible with iOS 15.5 – Apple Support (UK)


You need about 8 GB device storage and good Service and/or Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.

Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Download and Install.
