Has anybody ever seen a surcharge with Apple Pay when buying online before? This took me completely by surprise. I was about to pay when I noticed that the price from Apple Pay was higher than the price from the website. See the screenshots below.
In theory MasterCard, Visa, AM/EX and Discover do not permit a credit card surcharge by the merchant. However, it can be configured as a cash/debit card discount, rather than an Apple Pay/credit card surcharge.
Sales tax? Shipping?
Thanks for your reply, however shipping and tax were already included in the original amount of 394.37$
