Netgear has a forthcoming Wi-Fi 7 router on the horizon. Any Wi-Fi 6E capable router should talk to your MacBook in access of 1 Gbps speeds. I have seen, but not consistently, 1.3 Gbps Wi-Fi 6 speeds from my Synology RT6600ax router to a 2023 M2 Mac mini Pro, and a 2020 27-inch Core i7 iMac.

Your mileage may vary based on physical structure and nearby signal interference.

NOTE: you have to have ALL the network gear support the faster speeds. Cable or Fiber modem, router, any Ethernet network switches, cables between boxes, computer system that will talk to the WiFi, etc…. And with WiFi no interference between the WiFi using system and the WiFi access point. And in a Mesh network no interference between Mesh nodes relaying the signal from the router at the modem and the Mesh node providing access to the computer system.

Networks are so much fun 😖
