mac book pro getting phony error messages… virus?

I was sitting talking on the phone next to my computer when I got these messages.

It’s bogus, obviously, (for one thing this is not a Sparcstation, and, 16 megs of RAM?😆) and the messages only appeared in my external monitor… When I unplugged my computer and looked at the built-in screen, everything was fine.

I haven’t heard of this one before, Googling the message about iNintendo hasn’t produced anything.

The screen with the white background came first, then black background, then “Nintendo”.

Any ideas? I had Chrome running and that seems the most likely suspect.

I shut the computer down with the power switch.

There are no Mac viruses in the wild.

More than likely you just made it to a questionable site and this popped up. If the message doesn't apply to you, ignore it and stay away from the offending site if you can.
