Notification sounds are at full volume

My volume slider works fine and in Sounds and Hipatics the "change with Buttons" is on. The volume slider for the ringtone and alerts stays at one volume, which is much lower than these notifications. I use the app Medisafe that sends notifications throughout the day and it is just a ding. It is soooo loud now. I have Fidelity and my alerts from that app are extremely loud. I use Yahoo Fantasy Baseball and those alerts make my heart miss a beat. This all just began happening within the past few days. Can anyone recommend anything. It is an Iphone 14 pro and I did try a hard reset of the phone.
