I keep getting notifications that my iPhone hasn’t backed up. I try it again and it says I’m not connected to WiFi but I AM connected to WiFi.

The Wi-Fi must not use VPN, must not be a Hotspot, and should have no anti-virus filtering. The signal and your iPhone battery must be strong.
Can you please tell me what VPN is?
I’m connected to WiFi but when I try to back up to iCloud it says it can’t back up because I’m not connected.
