ipod 120gb

how long of a lifespan will an ipod 120gb classic have? mine has worked pretty good for 14 years. battery is weak but i only play it through itunes.

My old iPod Classic 80GB comes up with a red cross and a message; www.apple.com/support/ipod. I did connect it to my laptop with a usb cable, but my laptop does not pick it up. What now, or is it buggered for good? How do I update or revive my old iPod Classic 80GB, when it comes up with a red cross and a message that refers me to www.apple.com/ipod/support ? My computer does not pick it up when I connect it with a USB cable. I would really like to use it again, or is it buggered for good?

Empty nano ipod gen. 7 not able to be synced I get this error message: "The iPod “Bro. Craig’s iPod Nano” cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the selected items (additional 6.03 GB required).” This nano is empty. Nothing is on it. It used to sync. What can I do to restore it? Running Ventura 13.5.2 on an Apple M1 Mac

Every device lifespan is going to vary depending on how it is used, the environment it is used in, and multiple other factors.

If you have a working 14 year old iPod, that is fantastic.
