I bought a iPhone and it is asking for the Apple ID

Model number A1634 I bought this phone at the flee market. It is asking me for Apple ID. What can I do to get the account that's on the phone removed. It said on the screen?


Activation help a password is required to activate this device because its owner has used find my iPhone to link to other apple ID.


If this is your device, enter the apple ID and password you used to set up iCloud.

You will never be able to use this phone. Your only option is to get your money back. The iPhone is most likely stolen and is one of the many things to be wary about when purchasing a used device.


Your only options are to attempt refund, recycle it, or turn over to the police in case the owner filed a theft report so they can get their device back.

Hello ~ Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to bypass the activation lock. Unless the person that sold it to you is the original owner (unlikely) and they can remove the lock it will remain locked and unusable. We cannot help and neither will Apple. In some cases you may have in fact purchased a stolen iPhone or at the very least one that was not properly prepared for sale. Take a look at this article and user tip by clicking on below…
