Blank white screen searching Apple Music.

This issue of Apple Music frozen on a blank white screen when searching was posted at least three years ago and Apple hasn't addressed or solved this issue?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.


If we understand, the Music app is working, it's only when you try to search you are seeing a white screen. Is that correct?


We're going to recommend restarting your Mac in safe mode, and then test searching in Music. It's expected for your Mac to restart slower in safe mode, since safe mode prefers a checks and balances similar to First Aid. Follow the steps found here for safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support. If it works in safe mode, restart as you normally would and test again.


If you have already tried this step or others let us know so we don't ask you to repeat steps. Also, be sure to let us know the exact macOS version installed.
