Running Paralles and Windows on my new MacBook Pro M2 16GB to run Auto Cad like it appears on PC or n my classroom. Help with configuration

Running Windows in an emulator is not going to give you the exact same "look" as that of running it on bare metal. You are running it inside another app, and that app wants its own slice of the screen pie.

If you have issues with the way Parallels displays Windows, you need to talk to the Parallels developers. All Apple does is supply the compatible hardware and OS, 3rd party developers determine how their app works within that environment.

Everyone here is a volunteer and anyone familiar with your issue may or may not ever check in. For that reason alone, quizzing Parallels tech support is likely going to serve you better.

VMWare Tech Preview 2023 has full hardware 3D acceleration (appleinsider.com)

normally virtuel machines only really get basic video card features, so 3d stuff and gaming is not really enjoyable

autocad may benefit from that

AutoCAD for MAC 2024 runs natively on both intel and Apple Silicon (M1/M2).

The Performance is improved significantly when running natively on Apple Silicon machines.

Just to add, The Intel and ARM64 aren't identical. So they would look somewhat different even when running natively on Windows PCs.
